Our flight from Atlanta has been delayed due to late arrival of the previous flight. Our plane is here and we should be boarding about 5:50 pm Atlanta time. That means that we should arrive in Birmingham about 6 pm local time.

We are grabbing a quick bite of food in Atlanta. Our next flight is currently on schedule. Carl said farewell as he went to meet his parents here.

Great news… Jenni's flight was over booked and they asked if she would be willing to switch to our flight. Of course she said yes. She's waiting to see how long it takes for the rest of the team to figure it out.

Early Sunday Morning

Alasdair and Jenni have both begun their journeys home. The rest of us will soon follow. Here’s our travel recap for your convenience: Sunday morning will be an early morning with Alasdair flying out to Scotland at about 6:45 AM. Jenni’s flight departs at 9 AM and the rest of the team will fly out at 11:30 AM. Those of us flying to America will have to be at the airport about 3 hours ahead of departure. We will have a long flight to Atlanta arriving at 3:20 PM on Delta Flight DL 159. After a brief layover (just long enough to get through customs) we will fly to Birmingham on Delta Flight DL 1997 arriving at about 5:20 PM. If you are meeting us at the airport, please check the flight schedule online at http://www.delta.com to ensure that we are on schedule. Jenni will arrive later, about 8:30 PM, even though she will depart ahead of us. Please pray for safe travel for all of us and for traveling mercies as it will be a very long day (30 hours), especially for Jenni. We will all see you soon!

Late Saturday

It’s 10:45 PM here and we have eaten dinner at the hotel and we are getting ready for bed after we get ready for our morning departure. We will be getting up early and it will be a very long day, but we look forward to seeing you tomorrow evening. Because of our early morning departure, I don’t know if I will have time to post again from a computer. I will send updates from my mobile. Please pray for us tomorrow as we travel. And please pray for everyone in Athy as the youth club continues another week. We love you all and we will see you soon!

After our day in Dublin, we said our farewells to the Forrest family before catching the bus to the airport and on to the hotel. We will miss everyone!
