Hello everyone! This is where the posts will begin for the 2010 Ireland Mission Trip. We leave the posts from the previous years so that team members and their families and friends can see how we have used the blog in the past to post photos and updates several times daily from wherever we are including our travel to and from Ireland. When we first started doing this the technology was new, but now with improved phones, text messaging, social networking sites such as Facebook and the availability of mobile connectivity almost everywhere in Ireland and in the United States, many team members are able to maintain constant contact directly with family and friends back home. Even so, we hope that everyone enjoys the updates here on the blog. Because Ireland is six hours ahead of central time here in Alabama, many families start their day with viewing the latest posts to see what the team has already been up to that morning in Ireland. And family members also enjoy knowing when we have reached each destination point along the way on the trip to Ireland and on the return trip home. At this time we cannot post during the flights because of flight safety regulations, but we do post as soon as we land at and depart from each airport along the way. We hope you enjoy the blog and we look forward to a wonderful trip filled with ministry and fun!
